Netflix combines the taste profiles of 98 million users to create a perfectly ideal viewing experience…
Notflix combines the taste profiles of a room full of theatre go-ers to create a brilliantly hilarious and completely improvised viewing experience – a full musical.
The all female cast of ‘Notflix’ (otherwise known as ‘Waiting For The Call Improv’) use audience suggestions of recently watched films to create a brand new, fully improvised, one-night-only film musical inspired by one audience member’s idea and explanation.
The Notflix girls have made their mark on the comedy, improv and musical group scenes with a unique and niche blend of all three styles; something which is extremely rare and hard to achieve. Notflix also features a live band and they have developed their own original in-house long-form style of musical improvisation, making them one-of-a-kind amongst UK musical and improvisation groups.
Notflix has become a hugely popular and well recognised brand – the girls completely sold out their runs at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016 and 2017, even adding an additional huge show in the Gilded Balloon’s Debating Hall and subsequently selling out a further 350 seats. On top of this, they’ve sold out at London’s Vaults Festival and received a ‘High Commendation’, been featured in the Sunday Times, Marie Claire and Ellie Magazines and received nominations at the Musical Comedy and Funny Women Awards.
