Black Sheep Theatre presents:
Woyzeck
A man pushed to the edge. A world that refuses to listen.
Black Sheep Theatre reimagines Woyzeck, Georg Büchner’s fragmented masterpiece, through a bold and visceral contemporary lens. In a society driven by control, class, and quiet brutality, Woyzeck struggles to hold onto his humanity as the pressures around him begin to close in. Questioning what makes us human?
Blending striking physical theatre, ensemble movement, and raw storytelling, this production explores the psychological unravelling of a man caught in a system that exploits and discards him. Surrounded by voices that distort, manipulate, and judge, Woyzeck’s reality fractures—leading to devastating consequences.
Dark, urgent, and emotionally charged, Woyzeck asks: What happens when a person is treated as less than human for too long?
Contains reference to murder, blood. Themes of an adult nature. Strobe lighting.
