SPRING/SUMMER 2025

SPRING/SUMMER 2025
posted 16 Jan 2025

We are still delighting in the amazing effort our local theatre groups made to participate in our 50th Anniversary Concert we held back in December 2024. With a special performance by Jacqui Dankworth and our 50 Years On exhibition in the Gallery, the evening was a great display and celebration of the Theatre’s fifty year history!

Moving into our fifth decade, we are hosting some great performances this Spring/Summer. With local youth performances from RARE including Annie & Peter Pan, Stantonbury School’s pick-pocketing adventure, Oliver! and a horde of local dance schools showcasing their talent.

Hefty dramas such as Far From the Madding Crowd, A Taste of Honey and 180 Chord will demonstrate live theatre at its best along with MK Theatre of Comedy returning with a brand new adaptation of sitcom classic, The Brittas Empire to get you rolling in the aisles.

National Theatre Live screenings continue with Ncuti Gatwa starring in The Importance of Being Earnest and Steve Coogan scoring quadruple roles in Dr. Strangelove.

Toe-tapping music is sprinkled through this season. Wolverton Gilbert & Sullivan Society present the musical romp, Patience and Wolverton Light Orchestra are returning sooner than Christmas with a Music Garden Special in concert with guests! Celebrate International Women’s Day with Alina Orchestra as they assemble several groups aiming to acknowledge the artistic talent and cultural achievements of women from our diverse communities.

Twenty-five years after the original - the sell-out, jukebox musical from Louise Roche returns: Girls Night The Reunion! Get your crew together for a night of partying.

With touring tribute acts ranging from ABBA and Billy Joel to Pink Floyd, ELO and Fleetwood Mac, there is plenty of variety for all ages and tastes!
