Join us for the MKT Young Company Showcase as the culmination of their performance project!

The MKT Young Company offers young people the chance to develop their skills and understanding in a practical setting, as if in a professional theatre company. Working on a piece from initial concept through to final curtain, company members can take on performing and/or offstage roles under supervision of director, Carly Halse.

Young people in the Company have taken on stage management, lighting and sound design, wigs, props and even assisted in creating the programme, with kind support from Safesmart allowing young people to gain a real insight into the many different departments within theatre and how these all work together. We thank Safesmart for their continued support.

The MKT Young Company will be presenting a shortened Shakespeare’s comedy As You Like It, where we’ll meet the lovable and endearing Rosalind, the passionate Orlando, and explore the Forest of Arden – with a few twists and turns along the way!
