Exhibiting at the Gallery
Stantonbury Theatre present the Long Lounge Gallery Bar. A space for artists to exhibit their work to a captivated, appreciative theatre audience. The Gallery is open for all theatre performances throughout the year.
If you are interested in exhibiting in the Gallery please contact gallery@stantonbury-tove.org.uk
Since re-opening our doors in January 2022, we at Stantonbury Theatre & Gallery have been delighted to see and experience the enthusiasm as we welcome our hirers and audiences back.
Our Gallery has also been back to its usual routine. So far, we have already had fabulous exhibitions from some fantastic local artists including Graham Mills, Chrissie Williamson, Thread Thread Wine & the Wolverton Society of Artists!
The primary purpose of our Gallery is to display local artworks to our audience members when they are waiting to see a show, during the interval or queueing at our Theatre Bar which is also located within our Gallery space.
Some terms of exhibiting with us:
We provide space for Artists to exhibit for free, we will not charge you to display your work with us, nor charge commission for any of your work sold from our Gallery.
The space available is a 40ft long white wall (10 4ftx8ft sections). This can be used to hang pictures with screws, nails etc. You are welcome to add any other display furniture you feel is necessary. We only ask that you please double check with us first to ensure we can accommodate.
We are still offering Public/Private Vernissage or Finissage Viewing Events. Please contact us to enquire about costs/details.
Access to visit the Gallery is via the Main Foyer Entrance only. Visits can be arranged, Monday - Friday, in advance by emailing gallery@stantonbury-tove.org.uk or calling 01908 324422 Mon-Fri. Please await confirmation before heading to the Gallery as there may not be staff present to open up.
Unfortunately, we currently do not have the capacity to have the building open generally for the public during the day.
The Gallery/Bar will be open for every performance we have in the Theatre so members of the public will still see your work. Non-audience members are welcome to attend when the Box Office/Foyer is open for a show, however, please note, that the Gallery/Bar will have to be closed up prior to the performance that night finishing.
