What is Theatre4Kids at Stantonbury Theatre

Well the obvious answer is that it’s a programme of children’s theatre that specialises in family friendly interactive shows for ages 2 -10 years. There’s everything from adaptations of well known and well loved classic stories, magical fairy tales, swashbuckling adventures and of course the odd scary monster. Audiences are often encouraged to get involved in the action. Shows are usually between an hour to an hour and a half long depending on the target age and some also have accompanying workshops where you can learn to make puppets or dance to the jungle beat!

However it’s a little bit more than that. Theatre4Kids is also a membership scheme for children aged 10 years or under. If you join you child up for it you get a membership card and collect stamps in your card every time you attend a Theatre4Kids show. Once you have 4 stamps your child is entitled to a FREE ticket for the next Theatre4Kids show you book. You will also get offers and news in advance of shows to come.
